"Your file stays on your device" should be something you can check, not something you have to trust. Here is how.
Check it yourself in two minutes
- Open a tool, for example the Form Photo Resizer.
- Open your browser's developer tools (F12, or right-click → Inspect) and select the Network tab.
- Choose a photo and run the tool.
- Look at the requests. You will see the tool's own scripts loading from
https://niftyfix-frame.prasad9a38.workers.dev, and no request that sends your file anywhere.
Why it cannot upload your file
Tools run inside a frame on a separate origin. That frame's Content Security Policy only permits connections to its own origin, which serves static files and has no upload endpoint. The surrounding page cannot read the frame's contents, and the frame can send the page only its height and a few coarse events, checked against a fixed list.
How we test it
Our automated browser tests process real files and record every network request the frame makes. A test fails if any request goes to another origin or uses a method other than GET while a file is being processed. These tests run on every change.
Limits of this guarantee
- It covers the tool frame. If advertising or analytics are added to the outer page in future, they will be outside the frame and unable to read your files, and we will say so here.
- Browser extensions you install can read pages you visit, including this one. We cannot control that.
